An off shore photograph of Tarrafal, a port town on São Nicolau. Tarrafal, an impoverished town, is spread out along one long coastal road. It's primary industry is fishing and a port is located on the south side of town. Although not the islands primary tourist destination, it is a destination for islanders and visitors seeking nightlife.
