In this episode, students from Rhode Island College Professor Amy Barlow’s FYS 100 class describe an item from Special Collections. The item is a book published in the 1980s, titled “Gay Jubilee: A Guidebook to Gay Boston: Its History and Resources.” The students contextualize the time period and culture in which it was created, and how it connects to the Queer community in 2024.
