This Major paper, with evidence from the literature, describes what cardiac rehab is and acknowleges the importance. The literature supports the benefits and favorable outcomes of cardiac rehab however, CR programs remain underutilized. This paper identifies the need for CR educational programs to increase nurses’ knowledge of CR and to effectively educate patients on the benefits of CR. The content included numerous rearch articles and govement journal articles to support the purpose of this project.
