Nurses' knowledge of and attitudes toward treating Veterans with a dual diagnosis of PTSD and SUD were evaluated before and after an educational PowerPoint Presentation. Knowledge was assessed using a brief, 10 question quiz. Attitudes were assessed using the Medical Condition Regard Scale. Results were analyzed according to gender, age range, level of education, years in nursing, and employment on a medical or psychiatric unit.
