Description

A distant view of Cidade Velha, the former capital of Cape Verde, as it sits on the coast of Santiago. Visible on the hoizon are the ruins of an old cathedral. Formerly Ribeira Grande, a large colonial city, it's population is now that of a small village and the residents live amongst the ruins of the city.
