A busy street in Downtown Providence following the hurricane of 1938. On either side of the street several automobiles are parked. Five men stand in the street, two in the middle of the street, and the other three to the right alongside a large automobile. One of the men in the middle appears to be a soldier. Further down along the street more people can be seen.
