Rhode Island Normal School and State House located in Providence R.I. Rhode Island Normal School became Rhode Island College of Education which later became Rhode Island College. The Rhode Island Normal School building was demolished in the 1990s and replaced by the Providence Place Mall. The reverse of the photograph is captioned, "Rhode Island Normal School and State House."
