Description
This one-hour videocassette of Kontakt is comprised of two half-hour episodes edited together.
The first episode (0:08-28:09) leads with a video essay about the 1989 Rhode Island Heritage Day, held on the lawn of the Rhode Island State House in Providence, RI. An approximately 10-minute segment with Benvindo Rosario, literary critic, follows in which the book Ilhas Afortunadas by Basil Davidson is discussed.
The second episode (28:09-59:25), entitled Musical Variedades features live performances by the Joao Mendes, Dany Silva, Gardenia, Morgadinho, and Paulo de Cravalho.
