Description

Image of Union Railroad Depot built in 1847 and designed by Thomas A. Tefft for the Providence and Worcester, Providence and Stonington, and Boston and Providence Railroads till it was destroyed by fire in 1896. Replaced by a newer Union Station, completed in 1898 was built by New Haven Railroad before another fire occurred April 26, 1987.
