A photograph of the Smolski residence, located in the East Side neighborhood of Providence, Rhode Island, from the winter of 1974. Chester Smolski was a professor at Rhode Island College from 1953 through 1994.Following his death in 2008, his his family donated his extensive collection of photographs and op-ed articles to Special Collections at Rhode Island College. This photograph is from that collection and was included as an example of a residence in the East Side neighborhood of Providence, Rhode Island.
