Description

The spire of Salisbury Cathedral was an addition in the 14th century undertaken in 1334 by Bishop Wyvil and the master mason Richard of Farleigh. At 404' feet, it is the tallest in England. The later style of the spire and upper portion of the tower reveal it's later construction date
