A photograph taken in downtown Providence, Rhode Island in 1979. The pictured buildings are U.S. Customhouse (leftmost building) the Equitable Building (center) and the Wilcox Building. The Equitable Building is built in a Victorian style, splitting the street-level tenants in half - a shop half a floor down and the principle business half a floor up. At the right is the Wilcox building. It's L-shaped floor plan wraps around the neighboring Equitable building giving it facades on both Weybosset and Custom House Streets.
