The audio from the first interview session, February 28, 1974, uses the 'copy three' cassette (MSS-0067-b01-ITEM28, CV 17 c. 3). It was chosen as the source for digitized audio based on the audio quality and duration of the interview when compared to the 'original' (MSS-0067-b01-ITEM26, CV 17). It is believed that the cassette marked as a 'copy three' is actually the original recording based on it's superior audio quality and extended duration.
