Description

'Tchucalia', proper name unknown to me. A well known figure in Providence, RI who after many years retired to Sal Rei, the place of his birth, to enjoy his last years. This slide was taken approximately 2-3 years before his death. Every day he sat in his doorway facing the praia ("beach"), welcoming conversation with residents and visitors alike.
