Among the many hikes available to those in Santo Antão, the journey from Cova to Paúl via the Ribeira de Paúl is a favorite. The trip spans around 9 km, taking about 4 1/2 hours total. While walking, you find yourself beautifully immersed in lush green vegetation surrounded by massive cliff walls.
